Top 4 Ideas for Your Kitchen Sink Window

A kitchen sink window will always be a standout feature in any home, whether you go for a minimalist style or a trendy approach. If you’re keen on changing the look of your kitchen sink window or planning to make space for a new window in this area, it pays to visit a few design ideas to inspire you in your project.

In this article, Renewal by Andersen® of Memphis, a trusted company specializing in window and door replacement, shares four ideas to help you create a stylish kitchen sink window.

1. Large Bifold Windows

Getting a massive window for this area in your kitchen can be a bold move. But if you’re someone who enjoys a fresh breeze from the outside while whipping up scrumptious meals, a large bifold window would suit you. Apart from the maximum airflow it provides, you can also allow you to enjoy a full view of the outside.

2. Black-Trimmed Casement Windows

If you’re getting replacement windows, you might want to consider a casement window with a black frame. This color continues to appeal to homeowners because it easily adds a modern look to the interiors. Consider pairing your black-trimmed casement window with a stainless steel apron sink to create a more stylish space.

3. Let the Sink Complement Your Window

If you’re replacing your old sink too, make sure your choices of window and sink go well together. Finding the right combination can transform your entire kitchen, and it can serve the centerpiece for your kitchen as well.

4. Paint Your Cabinets

The color of your cabinets can help accentuate your kitchen sink window. For instance, a white window surrounded by dark cabinets will easily pop and grab attention.

Renewal by Andersen of Memphis is a leading provider of top-quality windows made with a specially designed material, which makes them a lot more durable than your average vinyl replacement windows. Call us at (901) 779-1178 or fill out our contact form to request a free consultation.

"Our windows were the original ones that were installed when they built the house in 1972. They wouldn't open, they had been painted shut. They were single pane and the glaze was cracked everywhere. I had to put plastic up every year to help keep the house warm at least a little bit. My MIL was surprised that there weren't any panes in the windows. Now she loves it. We have put a film on the windows so we can see out but no one can see in. We are loving it!"
