We at Renewal by Andersen® offer a window replacement service that’s well beyond what off-the-rack replacement windows can offer: fully customizable replacement windows. In today’s post, Renewal by Andersen® of Memphis shares a closer look at how we make replacement-windows-made-for-you possible.
Fibrex® Material Frames
Window frames dictate many features that make a window a window, including its size and style. Renewal by Andersen replacement window frames are made from our exclusive Fibrex® material, a composite made from wood fibers and polymer. It offers the durability and natural insulation of traditional wood frames with the low maintenance benefits of vinyl. As an extruded material, Fibrex lets us build custom window sizes — and shapes, even — that will virtually fit any requirement precisely and with minimal waste.
We offer a wide selection of color finishes that will look great on any interior and exterior color palette. Most of our six interior colors or three stainable real wood interior finishes can be paired with nine exterior color options. Whether you want something understated like white or canvas, or something bold like full black windows, we’re the only replacement window company that offer these options, warranted by our limited warranty against chipping, cracking or peeling.
Hardware Styles and Finishes
You can further personalize your windows with our dozens of hardware styles and finishes that will fine tune your windows to your liking. If they sound overwhelming, don’t worry — our expert consultants can help you navigate these options during your consultation.
Window grilles are a small but critical component that will let your windows blend in with the rest of the house. In addition to traditional Farmhouse, Colonial and Prairie grilles, we can manufacture virtually any grille style that will fit your design requirements. We offer three grille types:
Full divided light grilles replicate the look of traditional grilles with permanent exterior Fibrex grilles, aluminum spacers and permanent or removable interior grilles. The spacers between the glass panes help maintain the insulating gap between interior and exterior surfaces while also maintaining structural support.
Between-the-glass grilles feature just the aluminum grilles permanently installed between the glass panes, which helps make the interior and exterior surfaces easy to clean.
Interior wood grilles just snap onto clips on the window interior and can be removed for easy cleaning.
